Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Cloudmenta, we are committed to delivering exceptional educational experiences and high-quality learning programs. We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund may be appropriate, and we want to ensure our refund process is transparent, fair, and straightforward.

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for purchases made through the Cloudmenta platform, including learning programs, subscriptions, and related services. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

We encourage all prospective learners to carefully review program descriptions, curriculum outlines, prerequisites, and sample content before enrolling. Our goal is to ensure that every learner enters a program that is well-suited to their goals, experience level, and expectations.

2. Refund Eligibility Window

14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: You may request a full refund within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that you have not completed more than 25% of the program content or earned a credential or certificate for the program.

The 14-day refund window begins on the date your payment is successfully processed, regardless of when you first access the program content. Refund requests must be submitted before 11:59 PM (Mountain Time) on the 14th day following your purchase.

2.1 Conditions for Full Refund

To be eligible for a full refund, all of the following conditions must be met:

  • Your refund request is submitted within 14 calendar days of purchase
  • You have not completed more than 25% of the total program modules
  • You have not submitted a capstone project or final assessment
  • You have not been issued a digital credential or certificate for the program
  • You have not previously received a refund for the same program
  • Your account is in good standing and has not been flagged for abuse

2.2 Partial Refund Eligibility

In certain circumstances, a partial refund may be considered even if the standard refund conditions are not fully met. Partial refund eligibility is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and may apply in situations such as:

  • Significant technical issues that prevented program access for an extended period
  • Documented medical emergencies or extraordinary personal circumstances
  • Substantial discrepancies between program descriptions and actual content delivered
  • Program cancellation or significant modification by Cloudmenta

Partial refunds, when granted, are calculated based on the portion of the program not yet accessed, minus any applicable administrative fees.

3. Non-Refundable Items and Circumstances

The following items and circumstances are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Programs where more than 25% of the content has been completed
  • Programs for which a credential or certificate has been issued
  • Refund requests submitted after the 14-day eligibility window
  • Programs purchased during promotional sales or with special discount codes (unless otherwise stated in the promotion terms)
  • Bundle packages where individual programs within the bundle have been accessed beyond the eligibility threshold
  • Subscription fees for periods that have already commenced (partial month/year refunds are not provided)
  • Programs purchased as gifts or transferred to another user
  • Administrative fees, processing fees, or other non-tuition charges
  • Situations where the learner's account was suspended or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
  • Dissatisfaction with course difficulty, pacing, or instructor style where the content accurately matches the published program description

4. Subscription Refunds

4.1 Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has commenced. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to the Services through the end of your current billing period. No refunds or credits will be issued for partial months or unused portions of your subscription.

4.2 Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a prorated refund within the first 30 days of purchase, provided that you have not completed more than 10% of any enrolled program content. After 30 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable, but you may cancel to prevent renewal.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. If you forget to cancel and are charged for a renewal, you may request a refund within 7 days of the renewal charge, provided you have not accessed any content during the new billing period.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Send an email to courses@cloudmenta.com with the subject line "Refund Request — [Your Full Name]"
  • Step 2: Include the following information in your email: your full name, email address associated with your account, program name, date of purchase, order confirmation number, and the reason for your refund request
  • Step 3: Our support team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and may ask for additional information if needed
  • Step 4: Refund requests will be reviewed and processed within 5–10 business days from the date of receipt
  • Step 5: You will receive an email notification confirming whether your refund has been approved or denied, along with an explanation

Important: Please do not dispute the charge with your bank or credit card company before contacting us directly. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting Cloudmenta may result in delayed resolution and potential suspension of your account.

6. Refund Processing

6.1 Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We do not issue refunds via check, cash, store credit, or alternative payment methods unless the original payment method is no longer available, in which case we will work with you to find an appropriate alternative.

6.2 Processing Time

Once a refund is approved, it typically takes 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution. Cloudmenta is not responsible for delays caused by third-party payment processors or financial institutions.

6.3 Currency and Exchange Rates

All refunds are processed in United States Dollars (USD). If your original payment was made in a different currency, the refunded amount may differ from the original charge due to exchange rate fluctuations. Cloudmenta is not responsible for any differences resulting from currency conversion.

7. Program Cancellation by Cloudmenta

In the rare event that Cloudmenta cancels a program before its scheduled completion, enrolled learners will be offered the following options:

  • A full refund of the program fee
  • Enrollment in a comparable alternative program at no additional cost
  • A credit toward future Cloudmenta programs equal to 110% of the original purchase price

If a program undergoes significant modifications after your enrollment (such as removal of major modules, change of format, or reduction in program duration), you may request a refund within 14 days of being notified of the changes, regardless of how much content you have completed.

8. Abuse Prevention

Cloudmenta reserves the right to deny refund requests or restrict future purchases for users who demonstrate patterns of refund abuse, including but not limited to:

  • Repeatedly purchasing and requesting refunds for the same or similar programs
  • Completing a significant portion of program content before requesting a refund
  • Downloading, copying, or distributing program materials before requesting a refund
  • Using multiple accounts to circumvent refund limitations
  • Initiating chargebacks without first contacting Cloudmenta support

We take refund abuse seriously and reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in such activities. All decisions regarding refund abuse are made at Cloudmenta's sole discretion.

9. Promotional and Discounted Purchases

Programs purchased at a discounted rate, as part of a promotional offer, or using a coupon or voucher code may have different refund terms. Unless otherwise stated in the promotion terms, the following applies:

  • Programs purchased at a discount of less than 50% are eligible for refund under the standard 14-day policy
  • Programs purchased at a discount of 50% or more may be eligible for store credit only, rather than a monetary refund
  • Free programs, trial programs, and complimentary enrollments are not eligible for any monetary refund
  • Bundle purchases are evaluated as a whole; individual programs within a bundle cannot be refunded separately

10. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

We understand that life is unpredictable and that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe you have a valid reason for a refund that falls outside the scope of this policy, please contact us. We will review your request compassionately and may make exceptions at our sole discretion in cases involving:

  • Serious medical conditions or hospitalization affecting your ability to use the Services
  • Natural disasters or emergencies that significantly impact your ability to participate
  • Death or serious illness of an immediate family member
  • Military deployment or mandatory relocation
  • Verified identity theft or unauthorized use of your payment method

Documentation may be required to support exceptional circumstance requests.

11. Changes to This Policy

Cloudmenta reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated "Last updated" date. The refund terms applicable to your purchase are those in effect at the time of your transaction, not the terms in effect at the time you request a refund. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
